Information you provide
When you request a quote, we collect your name, email address, suburb and postcode, and a description of the proposed work. You may also provide a phone number, approximate measurements and project photos. We ask for the full street address later when arranging a visit or work. Please send only information and photos relevant to your project.
How we use your information
We use your information to assess your enquiry, contact you, prepare a quote and organise the work. We may share the relevant details with subcontractors or suppliers involved in your project, limited to what they need. We do not use your contact information or private enquiry photos for marketing or public display without separate consent.
Website services and overseas processing
We use Cloudflare for website hosting and security, Cloudinary for private enquiry photos, Resend for enquiry email delivery, and Zoho Mail for our business mailbox. These providers process information needed to operate their services. Information may be processed outside Australia, including in the United States. Website security services may process technical information such as your IP address and browser details to protect the site and prevent abuse.
Analytics and cookies
Google Analytics helps us understand website visits, use of our contact links and enquiry events. It uses cookies and similar identifiers. Our current settings retain event data for 2 months and user data for 14 months; new activity resets the user-data retention period. These controls do not affect most standard aggregated reports. You can manage cookies in your browser settings.
Keeping information
Retention depends on whether your enquiry proceeds to a job and whether records are needed for ongoing communication, accounting, warranty, dispute resolution or other applicable obligations. Copies held in email, photo storage and backups may have different retention and recovery periods. Deleting an active record does not necessarily remove all backup copies immediately. Contact us to ask about a particular record or request deletion.
Access, corrections, deletion and concerns
To ask about your information, request access, a correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern, email info@bonum.com.au. We will verify your identity as appropriate, review the request and check whether any records must be retained. Please avoid sending additional sensitive information until we explain what is needed.
