Structural repairs before the new finish
At this Hampton property, the balcony was opened so the supporting timber structure could be inspected, repaired and strengthened. The substrate was then rebuilt and prepared before the waterproofing system and large-format tiles were installed.
The work extended beyond the balcony. Bonum refreshed the lacquered timber doors and windows, renewed deteriorated caulking, repainted the façade and repaired roof flashings to stop leaks.
A coordinated exterior result
Completing the structural, waterproofing, tiling and exterior finishing work as one coordinated scope restored both the function and presentation of the affected area. The photographs document the opened structure, preparation, waterproofing, tiling and completed façade.
